Overview:
These Terms and Conditions have been created to promote the integrity, reliability, security, lawfulness and privacy of both HostNet Media Inc’s and the Customer’s services and offerings. HostNet Media reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions periodically and such modifications will become automatically effective upon posting to our website or upon notification to the Customer. It is the customers responsibility to make themselves familiar with these Terms of Service.
Privacy Policy
At Hostnet Media Inc. the privacy of our website visitors and customers is very important to us. We ask for your information only for the specific purpose of providing services you ask and pay for from us. We only collect this information with your consent and do not sell, rent, give away or share it with any 3rd parties except when requried by law.
We will obtain your consent to share any of your information with a 3rd party for the purpose of providing your a service.
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.

Services Rendered
HostNet Media Inc shall:
- deliver shared and/or dedicated server hosting services for our customers.
- Provide support relating to the provision of these services. (Support is not included for applications not developed or installed by HostNet Media Inc. on the server unless it relates to a defect in the software/hardware provided by HostNet Media Inc)
- Install and configure all software required for our hosting services as specified above including security updates & patches
Changes
Changes to prices, terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Pre-paid service prices will remain in effect up until the pre-paid period has been reached.
General
These Terms and Conditions apply to any customer of HostNet Media Inc. and any customers of our customers and so on. The Customer agrees to make a reasonable attempt to enforce these Terms and Conditions to their own users & customers and website visitors or notify HostNet Media Inc. if these terms and conditions are not being met.
HostNet Media Inc shall not be liable for non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its control, including, but not limited to, fires, weather, acts of God, hacking, overall performance of the internet network and/or a part of its backbone, vandalism, denial of service attacks etc. Whenever possible, HostNet Media Inc will provide notice to the Customer for any planned maintenance or upgrades to its systems that may effect the delivery of services.
HostNet Media Inc. may at it's discretion make back-ups of server data, HostNet Media Inc. makes no guarantees of any kind, either expressed or implied, as to the integrity or correctness or the existence of these backups. You (the customer) are responsible to maintain local copies of your website and email data. If loss of data occurs due to an error of HostNet Media Inc, HostNet Media Inc. will attempt to recover the data at no charge to the customer. Otherwise, HostNet Media Inc. will attempt to recover the data from the most recent archive for a $50.00 fee per request. HostNet Media Inc. makes no guarantees to the integrity of these backups.
The Customer agrees not to engage in any illegal or illicit activities using the hosting services provided by HostNet Media Inc. The Customer agrees not to use the hosting services provided by HostNet Media Inc to send spam or un-requested email en masse. HostNet Media Inc. shall be the final arbiter of what exactly constitutes unlawful activity or spam.
The Customer agrees to pre-pay their service hosting fees in a timely manner. Accounts in delinquent status may be suspended or terminated without notification to the customer. Suspended accounts will be brought back online upon payment of the account balance with any applicable interest charges. Once an account is terminated, HostNet Media Inc., is not responsible for loss of the Customers data. HostNet Media Inc. will generally suspend an account before termination, however, our policy allows us to suspend or terminate delinquent accounts at our sole discretion.
The customer agrees to take all steps necessary to protect the integrity and privacy of the the Customer’s User ID and password as used on the server. The Customer agrees to have any users of the server protect the integrity and privacy of their User ID and passwords used on the server.
Limitations on Liability
HostNet Media Inc. has the right but not the obligation to monitor any activity and content associated with its websites or data hosted with us. HostNet Media Inc. may investigate any complaint or reported violation of its policies and take any actions it deems appropriate.
HostNet Media Inc. reserves the right to report any activity that it suspects violates any law or regulation to appropriate law enforcement officials. In order to co-operate with governmental requests; to protect HostNet Media Inc’s systems, infrastructure and customers, or to ensure the integrity and operation of HostNet Media Inc’s business, systems and infrastructure, HostNet Media Inc. may access and disclose any information it considers necessary or appropriate to co-operate with law enforcement officials.
HostNet Media Inc. provides its web site and services "as is" and without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. HostNet Media Inc. further specifically disclaims any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement for the services as provided. HostNet Media Inc. further disclaims any express or implied warranties that it's services will meet your requirements, will always be available, accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or operate without error.
In no event shall HostNet Media Inc. Be liable for any lost profits or any special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of, relating to, or in connection with, directly or indirectly, or intentionally or negligently, the use of HostNet Media Inc. services.
